A Place for Peace
The retreat center provides a beautiful and tranquil destination where individuals, couples, families, and groups can find healing and rest while pursuing reconciliation and relational restoration.
Step Back in Time
5½ miles North of the heart of Rolla, Missouri, follow the Highway E exit from I-44. In the natural beauty of the Ozark highlands, your experience awaits.
Entering the property, you will pass the soon-to-be planted vineyard and apple orchard where Cheviots (miniature sheep from Scotland bred for the purpose of tending vineyards and orchards) will keep the grasses neatly trimmed. Crossing the bridge and climbing the hill, you will spot the charming Victorian-style guest cottage nestled among the cedars.
For those staying overnight, the restful elegance of the fully equipped, one bedroom Victorian cottage comes complete with a state-of-the-art Air Scrubber developed by NASA, organic linens washed with the Laundry Pro system (no chemicals or fragrances), and a whole-house Aquasana water filtration system. Your porch swing makes it possible to enjoy glorious sunrises and sunsets.
Stroll through a quaint village carefully constructed to replicate a late 1890’s Midwestern mining town. View the firehouse, wood shop, shingle mill, office, train station, grist mill, and cider mill where all stone paths and bridges were quarried on-site.
Wildlife abounds. Deer and turkey are plentiful. Eagles and hawks circle above by day, and at night you might hear the hooting of owls or the chilling howl of coyote. Reflect on the majesty of God's creation under sparkling stars or at the edge of the wilderness pond surrounded by oak forest.
The Victorian is available for clients of Creative Conciliation. Book your stay directly by contacting Judy Dabler.
